Gilmer County

Natalie Barr became the first Glenville State runner to qualify for the NCAA Division II Cross Country Championship after winning the Atlantic Regional 6K in a school-record 21:22. Glenville enjoyed its best regional meet ever, with three All-Region honorees.

The Pioneer Shooting Club raised funds at its annual Breast Cancer Awareness Auction and donated $1,500 to the First Baptist Church of Glenville Cancer Fund. The event and recent check ceremony benefit cancer patients in Gilmer County.
