Buckhannon-Upshur raced to a 15-0 first-quarter lead but turned it over three times and saw East Fairmont rally for a 34-31 victory. Dawson Tenney had three rushing TDs and 146 yards, but the Bucs couldn’t recover late.

Buckhannon-Upshur is using a week-five bye to heal injuries and reset mentally after a four-game stretch against tough opponents. Coach Sloan Baisden says the break comes at a perfect time as the Bucs prepare for a challenging game with Fairmont Senior and a softer back half.
