W.Va. Dept. of Ed announces Ohio County teacher as 2026 Teacher of the Year
Tiffany Barnes of Ohio County was named West Virginia Teacher of the Year during the Celebration of Excellence in Education in Charleston. Barnes, a Wheeling Middle School special education teacher and Iraq War veteran, will begin her term Jan. 1, 2026.
