Senior Status Justice Hutchison assigned to fill temporary vacancy on Supreme Court
Chief Justice William R. “Bill” Wooton has appointed senior status Justice John A. Hutchison to temporarily fill the West Virginia Supreme Court vacancy after the death of Justice Tim Armstead. Hutchison will serve until Gov. Patrick Morrisey appoints a successor.
